Road overlooking the New Harbour Pedestrianised

There has been talk of this happening in El Cotillo for a while but it has finally happened.

On Christmas Eve the Ayuntamiento put up barriers outside the Aguayre cafe at one end and the Seahorse bar at the other end to prevent any more traffic and parking along the road.

The intention is now to pave the whole area between the barriers.

This is a good idea and will certainly improve the look of the area. It does mean that now the Aguayre, the Pescadores and the Seahorse will have unrestricted views of the sea.

The only drawback is that yet more parking disappears making it even more difficult to find somewhere to park your car. But you can’t have everything, I suppose.

    El Cotillo Hotels
