A short update on the current situation

I went to El Cotillo to get my hair cut and afterwards went for a trip around part of the village to see what is open now and also to see how busy it is.

I started off in the new harbour area where the Olivo Corso has now reopened and also the Aguayre, the Pescadores restaurant and the Seahorse bar are open. Also they have started work on the harbour itself where they are replaying the mooring buoys with floating pontoons.

Then I walked to the old habour and was surprised to find that just about every bar and restaurant were open which included the Coyote Bar, the Toston, the Mirador, the Vaca Azul (Blue Cow), the El Callao, the Anchor and the Bar Playa.

After a quick stop outside the Coral Cotillo Beach Hotel to see if that was open (which it wasn’t) I continued to Playa de la Concha to see how busy that was. It was much busier than when I walked there a few weeks ago to have a drink at Torino’s Beach Bar.

Also, in case you didn’t see it this was my video of my walk along the beaches to Torino’s:
